Kitten Central - What We Do
Founded in 2009, Kitten Central takes in only the tiniest newborns—neonatal kittens 0–28 days old—fragile bottle babies who need round‑the‑clock care.
Our team and 140‑volunteer family stabilize them, follow every medical protocol through spay/neuter, and then return them to the shelter or rescue partner who entrusted them to us so they can begin a healthy, happy adoption journey.
We have been partnered with Placer County Animal Services for over 15 years and their euthanasia rate for newborns in 0%. We’re so glad you stopped by our website to check us out.

Support Kitten Central's Mission
On average, we take in between 500 - 600 kittens per year. At the height of kitten season (April to October) we take in 400 kittens, more than we can house at our facility.
